Hello again everyone!!  I have a new project for you guys if you're interested in helping.  Let me explain what this involves.  Over time, as I gather new prophecies, some parent prophecy entries (on the modern prophecy side) get a little "top heavy" with sources, making them harder to work with as they get bigger.  And I'm sure that makes things a bit harder on you guys too when there's a LOT of sources on one topic to follow and track and so on.  It's kinda the same thing on my end too.  The problem is, with my already tight schedule, and my not feeling all that great lately, it makes it hard to keep up with things like that.  Anyhow, the project itself is simple, just a bit involved.  So lots of busy work, but nothing really difficult.

So what do I mean by "splitting prophecies"?  Simply put, it means I need to take individual sources, under certain parent prophecies with high numbers of sources, and put them under their own parent prophecy entry, thus downsizing top heavy entries to make tracking, and administration, easier for me.  To help you understand how to do this, and what I'm looking for, allow me to give you some guidelines and tips to help you along.  These are not hard and fast rules by any means, but rather tips for success to help make the work go easier, and faster.  So let's start with an example to give you an idea of how this might work.  And, this is just an example, so your millage may vary.

Anyhow, let's begin by taking the A Season of Extreme Weather parent prophecy as an example.  Digging through all of the sources there, let's say you find that three of the source prophecies there talk about fiery hail hitting the United States. (ps, the difference between "parent" and "source" prophecies is that the "sources" are the actual dreams/visions/prophecies given by prophets, and the "parent" entries are the umbrella under which they reside for easier tracking and monitoring.)  If that's the case, you would just collect the URL's for all three of those, and submit that to me (you can use the error form if you want) something like this:

These three sources are the same/talk about the same event, so should go under their own entry, which I would call "Fiery Hail Strikes the USA".

Again, that's just an example, and you can do it slightly differently if you thing it should be done that way.  I can then take that submission, and spin out those entries, with proofs, and make the new entry from there.  Another thing I need, that's similar to the above, but doesn't require actually splitting the prophecy, is consolidation of sources.  Let me explain how that works.  As I add new sources to the site, I sometimes have new entries that are either identical (not word for word, but close), or similar enough that they really should all be merged together under their own entry.  This source by Julie Green is a great example of how this works:

As you can see, there is the primary prophecy, and then two others linked under it using the "Also" tag.  In this case, if you find 2 or more sources, on the same parent, by the same prophet, that are identical, or really should be merged together as they're talking about the exact same event, then let me know.  If it's the same event, or an identical prophecy from two different prophets, then no, those need to remain separate.  But if it's from the same prophet, on the same parent entry, those can be merged together.  Also, prophecy status doesn't matter when merging these together, as I can make adjustments to compensate for that if it comes up.  The admin side of all this isn't all that hard.  It's finding the ones that need some TLC that is the difficult, and time consuming part. :)

Anyhow, thank you to anyone who can help out with this.  I don't have a time limit on this (although, don't click off and then forget about me, lol), but the sooner you can get these, the better, as that'll really help me a lot.  If you need a starting point to work with, a few that could use some TLC the most are these:

The Judgment of the Media
The Transformation of the Supreme Court

Anyhow, that's the ones that need immediate attention.  So if you can pick one, and crawl through it whenever you get a chance, and send me a list of anything you see that could potentially be either split out, or merged, please let me know.  Also, as the parent prophecies get sorted out, and don't need anymore attention, I'll strike them out on the list above so you have a better idea what still needs attention, and what does not.  Thanks again, everyone, for your help!  And, if you have any questions, please feel free to let me know, as always!
