This prophecy speaks of a time in the last days when people will mock and scoff at real believers, who still hold true to the scriptures, asking them, "Where is Jesus?  Didn't He say He was coming?  Where is your beloved Christ!?  Eh!?  He's not coming because He's not real and/or He lied!"  These are just a few of the things they will say as they mock believers and God while living in deep sin and apostasy, seeking after their own lusts, preferring sin over purity and lusts over righteousness.
