I heard this prophecy earlier today, and found it to be rather interesting. Hence I've begun to track this. Anyhow, for those who remember the dust bowl, it was a period of great drought, causing massive dust storms that blew away top soil and caused great famine. This, to me at least, despite the details being scarce, brings to mind other prophecies I heard of where rain would be so abundant that it would cause crops, not to fail (aside from being drowned in the fields) so much as famine being caused by the rain preventing the harvesting of the crops because it never gets dry enough to harvest them, and thus they rot in the fields, and are lost. So basically, the reverse of a drought that still causes famine.
