In Genesis 12:3 God made a promise to Israel (Jacob) that whoever blessed him and his descendants would be blessed, and whoever cursed them would in likewise be cursed. as well. This is a LONG running prophecy from around the mid 1900's BC (exact year is not known) and is still relevant today, and will continue to be likely up until the end of the Millennium. Anyone who blesses (does good towards) Israel is blessed, and anyone who curses (does evil towards) is cursed. This can be seen playing out all through history. This prophecy is and will continue to remain as "in progress" until such time as the Lord considers the promise fulfilled, or else no longer relevant.
